Each match has at least two outcomes – the victory of the first side and the victory of the second side. The third outcome, a draw, is in sports where it is stipulated by the rules: in football or hockey.
All events in the Line have outcomes. You choose any of them and make a bet. If your chosen outcome is fixed, you win. If it’s different, you lose.
For example, you have chosen that Liverpool will win the match. This is your outcome. If Liverpool lose or draw, the bet will not go through. If you win, you will receive a prize.
In a broad sense, the outcome means any option for a bet, for example, totals or handicaps.
What do the outcomes look like in the Line?
Outcomes are designated as follows: “P1”, “X” and “P2”. Sometimes instead of “P1” they simply write “1”, and instead of “P2” – “2”.
“1” or “P1” – the victory of the host
“X” or “H” – a draw
“2” or “P2” – the victory of the away side
To determine which side is the host and which is the away side, look at the name of the match as it is in the Line. The first participant is the host, the second is the guest.
For example, in the match between Manchester City and Tottenham, the number 1 is Manchester City, and the number 2 is Tottenham.
How are outcomes calculated?
Outcomes are calculated according to the results of the main time of the match. This is true for those sports in which the rules stipulate the possibility of overtime. Overtime is additional rounds of the match, they are needed in order to determine the winner if there was a draw at the end of regular time.
We bet on Juventus to win against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
Regular time ended in a draw, and in extra time Juventus won.
Our bet lost, because the main time ended in a draw, and the result of the additional time does not affect the bet.
Among popular sports, overtime is used in football and hockey.
In football – 2 halves of 15 minutes. If during this time the winner is not determined, then the teams conduct a penalty shoot-out.
In hockey – most often 1 half for 5 minutes. The duration of the halves and the number of players on the ice depends on the rules of the tournament. If the winner is not determined according to the results of overtime, then the teams break through the shootouts.
Basketball also has overtime, but it is taken into account when calculating bets on the outcome.
What is a double outcome?
A double outcome is a bet on two outcomes of a match out of three. Double outcome is available only in those matches where the rules provide for a draw.
There are three types of double bets:
1X – victory of the host side or a draw
12 – the victory of one of the parties, which one does not matter
Х2 – away side win or draw
When choosing 1X and X2, you bet that your team will not lose. If you choose 12, you bet that there will be no draw in the match.
We bet on 1X in the match between Roma and Lazio.
The main time ended in a draw.
The bet passed because we bet that Roma would not lose.
What is an intermediate outcome?
This is a bet on the result of a match at a certain interval. The interval can be anything: the first 10 minutes, from the 1st to the 30th minute, from the 60th to the 75th minute.
When betting on an intermediate outcome, it takes into account which team will win in the selected time period. The result of the time already played and the final score do not matter.
By the end of the first half, Chelsea were losing 0-2.
We bet Chelsea to win from the 45th to the 70th minute.
In the 60th minute, Chelsea scored a goal.
By the 70th minute, the score is 1:2, Chelsea is losing.
The bet passed because Chelsea won between the 45th and 70th minutes.
Which is better – regular or double outcome?
The usual outcome is better if you are confident in the pass of the bet. In this case, you will get more profit. A double outcome has a low coefficient, most often two times lower than a regular one. This is due to the fact that you bet on two match results at once.
The benefits of a double outcome – insurance. This bet covers two out of three match outcomes, so you will have a better chance of winning. Also, with the help of a double outcome, you can secure other bets in Live.
We bet in the Prematch on the victory of the favorite of the match.
As the match progresses, the underdog plays better and creates more chances.
In Live, we bet that the outsider will not lose, and insure the first bet against losing.
